The Decepticon Hunter, sometimes called a neo-forge, is a multi-purpose tool which links to its wielder's neural transmissions, reconfiguring into whatever weapon or device is needed. Blades, cudgels, blasters... if it can be thought of, it can replicate it... within limits, of course.
This technology can prove finicky however, as the wielder must have a clear mental image of what they're trying to make. Plus, even a minor malfunction in the machine itself can prove dangerous, if not result in extra damage to both the Decepticon Hunter and whoever's using it.

Bumblebee and his team members were given Decepticon Hunters in Battlegrounds, Part 2. Optimus Prime also had one, with his being more prominent and called "Prime Decepticon Hunter".
